Tuesday 25 September 2018 - LONDON CAMERA EXCHANGE The staff of London Camera Exchange will be bringing, exhibiting and discussing the latest camera equipment. Members will be able to handle and ask questions about any piece of equipment that interests them and see the very latest equipment and trends.

Tuesday 2 October 2018 - THE FALKLAND ISLANDS - For any lover of nature and wildlife, or anyone who can appreciate the skills and expertise of a photographer who is master of their craft, the visit of Gianpiero Ferrari to Leamington is a real treat. Gianpiero is an FRPS and sits on their Nature Fellowship Assessment Panel.

Tuesday 16 October 2018 - WILDLIFE - Scott Latham is a professional conservation and wildlife photographer, ecologist, conservationist and founder of Explore Nature CIC. His work is published regularly in world image magazines and newspapers, and his images have won awards in many competitions. He regularly gives talks about wildlife and conservation as well as photography.

Tuesday 23 October 2018 - AUTOMOTIVE PHOTOGRAPHY - James Callaghan specializes in car photography for advertising and has worked for most of the major car manufacturers, photographing their products in the studio and on location worldwide. Car photography is one of the most demanding areas to work in, requiring many varied skills and talents.

Tuesday 13 November 2018 - NOTHING IS NATURAL; NOTHING IS STATIC - We call a landscape natural when it is anything but; as photographers we are often complicit, ignoring the new and hiding the traces of human activity. A selection of urban and landscape images, and a discussion around these themes is the subject of Rob Shuttleworth's presentation this evening.

Tuesday 20 November 2018 - THE 10 HABITS OF SUCCESSFUL STREET PHOTOGRAPHERS - As a genre, street photography has really taken off in the UK, no doubt due in part to the cheapness and popularity of digital cameras and mobile phone cameras. Whilst it is a fairly straightforward art form, there are some techniques which are well worth learning. Brian Lloyd Duckett aims to teach these techniques, along with some invaluable 'tricks of the trade'.

Tuesday 4 December 2018 - SOLACE - A PLACE I FIND PEACE - After working in newspapers since 1991 Paul Sanders left the prestigious role of Picture Editor of The Times to pursue his passion for landscape photography. This complete change of direction was not without its issues. Paul will explain the reason he shoots like he does, how he developed his style, his reason for switching from DSLR to mirrorless.

Tuesday 11 December 2018 - ABSTRACT - Martin Addison FRPS has been an enthusiastic photographer for about fifty years and enjoys many different types of photography- landscape, street, close-up and, most of all, creating images that are not representational, but intrigue (and sometimes confuse) viewers.

Tuesday 15 January 2019 - AN IMAGE SEEN - As a creative tool the camera has allowed Sarah Howard to express her love of the landscape. Photography has changed her life in the sense that its opened her eyes and made her really see what is around her. Her vision has become more fine-tuned and she now looks at her surroundings completely differently.

Tuesday 22 January 2019 - GOING FOR DISTINCTIONS - This presentation by David Keith Jones FRPS, EFIAP, DPAGB offers up-to date advice on how to apply for the following distinctions: CPAGB, DFAGB, AFIAP, EFIAP, LRPS and ARPS. Current requirements will be explained along with examples, including two successful DPAGB submissions, award-winning images from FIAP exhibitions for AFIAP and EFIAP, a recent successful LRPS panel and two for ARPS.

Tuesday 13 February - LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY - A journey in technique, composition and lighting by Alex Hare who is a professional landscape photographer from Whitstable, Kent. The lecture will begin with a display of some of his images, with an informative description of the process behind each shot as well as a description of why he likes it. He will finish off with a discussion of his post-processing workflow.

Tuesday 5 March 2019 - EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY - Andy Beel's style of monochrome involves high contrast and counter-change - usually light centre of interest against a dark background but occasionally vice versa. He's very much of the persuasion that the best weather for photography involves conditions when normal people stay indoors.
